Sacred heart Senior Secondary School, Majitha Road, Amritsar, holds admission for children to the L.K.G. class in January / February every year. Those children, who attain the age of four years, on 31st March of the same year, are eligible for the admission. However, the lower age limit will be 3 years, 6 months and the upper age limit will be 4 years.
UKG - VI
(a)
Admission to these classes is held depending upon the availability of the seats and the performance of the candidates in the entrance test.
(b)
Written test in English, Hindi and Mathematice are conducted for admission to the said classes.
(c)
Students seeking admission to classes VII and VIII are tested in Science also besides English, Hindi and Mathematics.
(d)
Students coming from non - ICSE boards will not be entertained for classes IX & X.
(e)
Transfer certificate from the previous school attendent has to be submitted at the time of admission.
(f)
Should the child not eventually attend the school, the fee (except security)paid at the time of admission is not refundable under any circumstances.
Notification...
Birth certificate from the Municipal Corporation or Discharge Card (in original) from the hospital, where the child was born is to be submitted at the time of admission.
No affidavit in this regard will be accepted.
If it is found that fraudulent documents (certificates, photos etc.) have been submitted for the purpose of obtaining admission, those cases will not be considered.
Personal details and date of birth once entered in the school record will not be changed under any circumstances.
Admission is granted on the basis of merit only.
The school does not accept or charge any donation for admission either directly or indirectly.
